# eSIM

PHPTRAVELS eSIM module docs: sell country, regional and global travel data plans with flights and hotels, starting with the Airalo eSIM API integration.

The PHPTRAVELS eSIM module lets travel agencies sell travel data plans on the same website and agent portal as flights, hotels and other products. Travellers choose a country, regional or global plan, pay with the booking, and receive the QR code and install steps by email before they fly.

### What the module does

* **Country, regional and global plans** -- One-country plans for a single destination, regional plans for a group of countries on one eSIM, and global plans for multi-stop trips.
* **Add-on at checkout** -- After a flight, hotel, tour, Umrah or visa booking is confirmed, the traveller can be offered eSIM plans for that destination and pay in the same checkout.
* **QR code delivery** -- After payment the eSIM is ordered from the connected supplier. The QR code, activation details and install steps appear on screen, in email and in the traveller account.
* **Markups and B2B** -- Set markups per plan, destination, supplier or channel. Agents can resell eSIMs in the B2B portal with their own rates and pay from their wallet.

### Connected supplier

PHPTRAVELS connects to **Airalo** for travel eSIM plans. You use your own Airalo account, keep the supplier relationship and net rates, and add your margin on top.

### Turn the module on

1. Enable the **eSIM** module in the Admin Panel.
2. Open the Airalo supplier settings and enter your API credentials.
3. Test the connection in sandbox / development before going live.
4. Choose which countries, regions and plans to show.
5. Set website and agent markups.
6. Place a test order and confirm the QR code arrives by email.

### How plans appear

Travellers search by destination. Plans show data amount, validity, coverage and price. You decide which plans appear and the sell price after markup. Live catalogue, coverage and prices come from your supplier account.

### After payment

1. The eSIM is ordered from the supplier.
2. QR code and install steps are shown and emailed.
3. The order is stored in the traveller account and in the admin for support and refunds.

Remind travellers that the phone must be unlocked and support eSIM, and that they should install over Wi-Fi before departure.

### Common issues

* **Wrong credentials** -- Re-test API keys in the admin; confirm sandbox vs live.
* **Plan not shown** -- Check that the destination and plan are enabled for your account and markups.
* **QR not received** -- Check spam folders, email SMTP settings, and the order status in the admin.
* **Need help** -- Submit a support ticket with Order ID, domain, PHPTRAVELS version and the error message.
