# Seeru

Seeru flights API for PHPTRAVELS: request Seeru API access, add the credentials in the flights module settings, test fares and bookings, then go live.

### Seeru in the flights module

Seeru is a flight content supplier that travel agencies connect to through an API. PHPTRAVELS lists Seeru as one of its flight suppliers: when the module is active, Seeru fares are added to your flight search results with your own markup, next to any other airline sources you have connected, such as Amadeus or Duffel.

### Account and credentials

* A commercial agreement with Seeru and API access for your agency. Seeru approves access; PHPTRAVELS only provides the connection.
* The API credentials Seeru issues to you, for testing and then for production. Your Seeru account manager can tell you which fields are required for your account.
* Admin access to your installed and licensed PHPTRAVELS site.

### Configure Seeru

1. Sign in at `yourdomain.com/admin`.
2. Open **Settings > Modules** and choose **Seeru** from the flights list.
3. On **General**, enable the module, keep **Dev mode** on development, and pick the currency your Seeru fares are returned in.
4. On **Credentials**, fill in the Seeru values, click **Test** if it is available, and save.
5. Set your B2C and B2B margins on **Markup**.

### Testing checklist

1. Search a route Seeru serves, a few weeks out, for one adult.
2. Confirm the fare, baggage and rules on the result match Seeru's data.
3. Complete a test booking and check that the booking reference is stored in the admin and the e-mail confirmation is sent.
4. Test cancellation or void if your agreement supports it.
5. Change to production credentials and **Dev mode** production after the test passes.

### Common errors

* **Credential test fails** -- values pasted into the wrong fields or with extra spaces; copy them again from Seeru.
* **No Seeru fares in results** -- module disabled, wrong environment, or no availability on that route.
* **Currency looks wrong** -- the module currency does not match the currency Seeru returns; correct it on the General tab and check your exchange rates under Settings > Currencies.
