# TBO

TBO flights API for PHPTRAVELS: connect your TBO Holidays account, enter credentials in the flights module, set markups and run test searches and bookings.

### About the TBO flights module

TBO Holidays is a B2B travel wholesaler whose API supplies hotel, flight and holiday inventory to travel companies. PHPTRAVELS has a separate TBO module in the **Flights** category for air fares, so you can switch on TBO flights, TBO hotels or both. TBO fares appear in your flight search next to your other airline suppliers, with your markup on top.

### Account and credentials

* A TBO Holidays agency account with API access approved for flights. TBO approves access and sets deposit or credit terms.
* The API credentials TBO gives your agency, for the test environment first and then for live use. Confirm the exact values with your TBO account manager.
* Admin access to your PHPTRAVELS website.

### Configure the module

1. Log in to the admin panel at `yourdomain.com/admin`.
2. Go to **Settings > Modules** and open **TBO** in the flights list (not the stays entry).
3. On **General**, enable the module and keep **Dev mode** on development.
4. On **Credentials**, paste the TBO values, use **Test** if it is shown, and save.
5. On **Markup**, enter your B2C and B2B margins.

### Test it

1. Search a route TBO covers well, one way, a few weeks ahead.
2. Check fare, baggage allowance and refund rules on the result.
3. Book with test credentials and confirm the TBO reference appears on the booking in the admin and in the confirmation email.
4. Try cancellation on the test booking.
5. Switch to live credentials and set **Dev mode** to production after a clean test.

### Common errors

* **Login failed** -- credentials mistyped or meant for the other environment.
* **Insufficient balance** -- live bookings may need a deposit or credit with TBO; top up or ask TBO.
* **Fare no longer available** -- the price changed between search and booking; search again.
* **Hotels not showing** -- TBO hotels are set up in the separate stays module.
