# Payments

All PHPTRAVELS payment gateway guides: PayPal, Stripe, PayStack, Flutterwave, Adyen and Cashfree, plus pay later, wire transfer, credits and wallet.

PHPTRAVELS can take payment at checkout through online gateways, pay-later options, account credits and wallet balance. Gateways are switched on, ordered and tested in the Admin Panel. Each method below has its own guide.

### How gateways are managed

1. Log in to the Admin Panel.
2. Open **Settings -> Payment Gateways** (wording may vary slightly by version).
3. Enable only the methods you will use.
4. Open each gateway's settings: environment (development / production), API keys, and any currency or webhook fields.
5. Run the built-in credential test where available.
6. Place a test booking and pay with that method.
7. Confirm the booking status and the transaction record in the admin.
8. Switch to production credentials only after a successful test.

Order and display of methods at checkout follows what you enable and how your theme presents payment options. Keep unused gateways disabled so customers are not offered methods you cannot settle.

### Adding a gateway that is not listed

### Checklist before go-live

* Supported currencies match each merchant account
* Webhooks / return URLs point at your live domain
* Test cards never used in production
* Secret keys stored only in admin / server config
* Refund and partial-refund behaviour understood per gateway
