# Powered by Linkback

In this video you will learn how to remove the powered by linkback from PHPTRAVELS product. It is only advised for Enterprise clients.

### What the linkback is

The "powered by" linkback is a small credit and link to PHPTRAVELS shown on your website, usually in the footer. Whether you may remove it depends on your licence. The video above shows where it is and how it is removed; follow it only if your plan allows white-label use without the credit, which we advise for Enterprise clients.

### Check your licence first

* Look at the plan you bought in your order at [app.phptravels.com](https://app.phptravels.com/) and compare it with the plan details on the [pricing page](https://phptravels.com/pricing).
* If you are not sure whether your plan allows removal, [submit a ticket](https://docs.phptravels.com/support/submit-ticket) with your Order ID before you change anything.
* Removing the linkback does not change any other licence term, such as one licence per website.

### Steps

1. Take a backup of your website files.
2. Follow the video to open the place where the linkback is set.
3. Remove or change the linkback as shown.
4. Save and clear any server, browser or CDN cache.

If you have customised your theme, the linkback may sit in your own theme files. Make the change there and keep a note of it so you can repeat it after an update.

### How to test

* Open your home page and a few inner pages (search results, booking page, a blog post) and check the footer on each.
* Check the mobile view as well as desktop.
* Repeat the check after your next update, because theme files can be replaced.

### Common problems

* **The credit still shows** -- the page is cached; clear the cache or check in a private window.
* **It came back after an update** -- the theme file was overwritten; re-apply your change.
* **Layout broke in the footer** -- an HTML tag was removed with the link; restore the backup and remove only the link text.
* **Unsure about licence terms** -- ask support before removing it.
