# License Video Tutorial

Watch how to get your PHPTRAVELS script license and enter it to activate the product, in a short video covering each step from purchase to activation.

### The steps in the video, in writing

When you buy PHPTRAVELS you receive an **Order ID**. The Order ID is your licence key: the two terms mean the same thing. You enter it once on your website to activate the product, and the site remembers it after that. ### What you need

* The email and password you used to buy PHPTRAVELS.
* Your website installed and reachable on the domain you are licensing.
* One Order ID per website. One licence covers one website; a second site needs its own purchase.

### Activate your licence

1. Go to [app.phptravels.com](https://app.phptravels.com/) and sign in. If you forgot your password, use **Forgot Password?** on the login page.
2. In the left menu, click **Orders**.
3. Find the order for the product installed on your website and copy its **Order ID** (it looks like `ORD-20260607-35939`).
4. Open your website login page, for example `https://yourdomain.com/login`.
5. Paste the Order ID into the **License Key** box and click **Verify License** (or **Activate**).
6. The notice disappears and the status reads **License active**. You can now log in normally.

### Tips

* Copy the Order ID directly from the client area; typing it by hand often adds mistakes.
* Activate on the final domain. The licence is tied to the website address, so avoid activating on a temporary subdomain you plan to drop.

### Common problems

* **License key not found** -- the Order ID was copied with spaces or from the wrong order. Copy it again from **Orders**.
* **Order not paid / not active** -- payment is not confirmed yet. Check the order status; if you paid, send support your payment proof.
* **Domain mismatch** -- the licence is registered to another website address, usually after a domain move. Submit a ticket with your Order ID and the new address.
* **Prompt keeps coming back** -- your server may not be saving settings; ask your host to check.
